Today, I dedicate my blog to a friend and a blogging ‘neighbour’, Foxsy.
More than a year ago she showed up on my blog all pretty, pink and well…foxy, and left me a thought-provoking and life-affirming comment. I noticed her everywhere in my neighbourhood, and whether smart, funny, or passionate, her comments always made me smile. They showed clearly that she was a dynamic woman who loved her life her family, her friends, and her husband. She always made us feel good. She was beautiful on the outside as well as the inside, and she made us feel beautiful, too.
And now it’s our turn to return the favour.
Listen, Foxsy girl– life just handed you a tough blow.
You’ve been wounded and down, but you’re already getting up again and on the mend, aren’t you? Now your friends at VOX are going to help speed up that process.
First order of business- a dose of our favourite medicine—-
sit back and have a Bellini on us while we tell you just what we think of you, just what we like about Foxsy:
Shush Now:
What I like about Foxsy is that she’ “Indomitable.” It’s a word that if you look it up in the dictionary, you’ll see a picture of our one and only Foxsy Dee. Life has thrown her a lot of curves in her time on Vox, but through every single one of them she’s held on to her faith, humor and idealism like a puppy with a particularly fabulous chew toy. Her spirit is effervescent, her wit is sharp, and her capacity to encourage and call out the best in people never seems to fail.
I can only pray that life gives her friends that are as special to her as she is to all of us.
Nancy Mitchell:
What I like about Foxsy is her upbeat and cheerful demeanor…even when life is kicking her around, she always tries to see the silver lining. When she comments on my posts, she’s always encouraging and supportive and I look forward to receiving her comments.
Hugs to Foxsy!
Marie:
Well, I admire Dee because even during the most difficult time in her life, she still strives (as hard as it is sometimes) to work towards the positive. She has taken a situation in which most woman would become bitter and resentful, and turned it around to reveal her own strength.

“The bean actually changes the hot water – the very circumstances that bring the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor of the bean. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you instead of letting it change you.”
Dee is our coffee bean!!!! You smell fabulous darling and boys, we bet she tastes delicious, too!
Kristine:
What I like about Foxsy?
I liked that I could not show my son what she sent me for Christmas!! 🙂
Nacwolin:
What I like is how authentic Dee is. She share her joys and her sorrows in an open and honest way that is refreshing. I also admire her strength and stick-to-it-iveness. She inspires me!
So there you have it, Dee! The next time this particular life situation gets you down, know that you have touched our lives in a big way. We all you see you as a strong, sexy, inspirational woman. We’re here for you through the tough times, and we’re cheering you on till you get back to the good times which we will celebrate with you.
If there’s anyone else out there who knows our Foxsy and wants to send her good wishes, I invite you to my blog to leave her your message here.
And if there anyone out there who doesn’t know Foxsy, I invite you to her blog, so you too can get to know this wonderful, beautiful girl.
Go Foxsy!

this is such a nice idea. I'm going to do this for some of my friends.
It's obvious from the comments here that "our Foxsy" is loved and admired around Vox. She has an abundance of vox friends and we are lucky to have her here. BUT…in saying that, Foxsy is also lucky! Lucky to have such a caring and thoughtful friend such as yourself Patricia. THIS is beautiful, and I could only wish for such a caring friend. There is a quote that goes something like this "Tell me your friends, and I'll tell you who you are" Having a friend as wonderful as you speaks volumes about who Foxsy really is.
Hugs!
I don't know her, but you are a great neighbor! This is such a good way to help someone feel better
[ciò è buono]
Ok you…
Tell me your friends and I will tell you who you really are.
I am the luckiest girl ever because not only do I have a fabulous friend like Patricia…..but also a fabulous friend like YOU, Ms. Marie-whos-going-above-and-beyond-with-trying-to-help-find-someone-to-move-me!!!!
You are both amazing women and I am humbled to have your friendship, love, and support. I am seriously blessed and humbled.
thank you!
It's always nice to hear how our friends feel about us. Thankyou for stopping by, Writebrained.
Marie, you are just as good a friend, not only to Foxsy but to all of us. I love how women band together on VOX. it's nice to experience.
Cap, go over and meet her. You'd like her and she'd like you, for sure!
I know you don't own anything pink. You told me that once before. But it suits you, you know? It's so feminine and yet at the same time, a daring, strong colour.
(A great big hug to you, too dear. We meant every word.)
I second this, Marie!
How is the move going, Fox? Any help on the way yet?
What a kind thing to do! She sounds like a wonderful person and I wish her luck getting back on track. x
Well, Foxsy, we meant every word!(((HUGS))) for you! You deserve to be celebrated.
You're very sweet to leave this message. I love the internet connections I've made throughoutteh world, but the only drawback is that sometimes you really do want to reach out and give someone a hug when they need it, instread of just a cyber hug.
But you know- who knows what they'll invent next?
That goes for you, too, you know…

Sometimes, though painful to go through, breaking up a relationship is a great thing in our lives: we find a new *us* a new begining, a kind of evolution.
Wiser words were never said, Mrs. Peel
I've been away for a bit and when I saw this, my heart fell, thinking that something else had gone horribly wrong for Dee. I've just been so happy that she has been working her way through it all. Thinking back over all that she's been through in the past year alone, I hope she sees, as we all do, how strong she truly is. (((HUGS)))
This was such a nice comment for Dee to see, K. Thanks for posting it! Dee, are you reading this?
🙂 You're such a good sort, Patricia, but I always knew that. I don't know what foxsydee is going through but I wish her all the strength and luck in the world, and many pleasant surprises. It is such a great gesture on your part to collect these comments and notes for her.
Well, Foxsy's going through sort of what you're going trhough and I know she'd extend the same thoughts and wishes to you, friend. Love really does break our hearts sometimes, but where would we be without it? For that matter, where would we be without our friends? Love and friendship remain very simple true reasons for existing. Thanks for stopping by, LC
Awww….Thanks sweetie! I am so with Patricia….this soooooo goes for you, too! 🙂
((((((big hugs))))))
nothing replaces a real hug that is truly and physically heart to heart
Thanks, sweetie! 🙂 I have met so many fabulous people on Vox. It makes the world seem smaller…..yet really big at the same time when you realize that you want to see people in person but it's not so easy to do.
Change is hard. This whole chaper has been a blessing and a curse. It's funny that you should say that about finding a new "us" in the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. My counsellor was talking about that yesterday with me. She is excited for me because she sees me evolving.
Whenever crap in our lives happens we have choice. We can become bitter or better. I don't want to be bitter.
Ha…..I doubt it about the queue….but its a nice thought! 🙂
((((((((big hugs))))))))))
Aww…thanks Kzinti! I hope things are ok for you, too. I have been missing you! 🙂 (((((((((big hugs))))))))))
yes….yes…I am reading! 🙂 (its affirming and humbling at the same time as I am enjoying the big love-in but at the same time I am not used to being the subject matter)
Uh Oh- I guess the photo-shopped nudie photo I was going to put up of you is out of the question then? ; )
That depends whose body you attached/photoshopped onto me! :p I'm all for a better ass, tits, and stomach…even if its only an illusion….LOL!
you are doubting the queue?really?well, I can tell you that 90% of my male friends who have seen you here and in Facebook are al;ready queueing, and as for the females…..well, lets just say I'm first in line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOLMy darling, darling Foxy, I can see you not only evolving, but also reaching the very best…..you'll see. [don't forget we latins have a bit of a witch on us! 😉 ]and so true, I couldnt have put it better: better, not bitter. We have the choice. As for Patricia: we are so blessed to count you as a friend, I'm so so glad you wrote this, Thanks!!!!
You silly goose! What you've got on your own looks pretty darn good from here!
well, I can tell you that 90% of my male friends who have seen you here and in Facebook are al;ready queueing,
How do you know this? I am quite curious…..hahaha! 🙂
And yes, we are all incredibly blessed to have Patricia as a friend. Very blessed indeed!
You only ever really see just my face…..
She sounds like a popular kind of girl! I'm going to have a wonder over in my lunchbreak to her blog because it sounds like I'm missing out on something!!
She's good at ranting on occasion, but not quite as good as you are ; )
You'll have to give her a few tips….Then I'll have two dangerous blondes to contend with….
I see a photograph of you here in front of you wardrobe. What's amiss?
Great post Patricia and to everyone who contributed to it.
Thanks Chezz! : )
